There are a couple friends who are at districts up north that have hosted this movie.
They are at Leyden and Elgin. They’re innovative administrators who are I think using the movie as part of their on-going discussion of change and keeping their schools innovative.

I think we should do it as part of CTRL-Shift so that we can keep that feel as well. We have been having lots of discussions. This film should be part of those on-going discussions.

Todd and I were just talking about this, as I happened to be at Kenwood observing this morning. It would be great if we could invite some business leaders, community leaders, school board members.

All this is to say, I’M GAME.

I have no problem footing a good chunk of that cost, but I would want the film to start a discussion, not end a discussion. :) For those that have been to the Co-op art theater, they sometimes have small discussions around a film (particularly before-hand); I am more interested in a provocative dialogue that stirs up action steps. My expectation is that the film addresses some issues that are relevant for our community, but we also have a myriad of other blessings and challenges as well.

Yes, it does look good.  Charles are you offering to host a screening?  It is only $350.

In all seriousness, I would be up for trying to put together a screening as a CTRL-Shift project...mainly because I need something else to do right now ;)

It would seem to be a perfect thing to end EdCampCU with, but that is coming up in just a few weeks.

Thoughts?

Any interest in the "Most likely to succeed" movie/documentary? Ted Dintersmith is at the helm, so it certainly has my attention.
