That sounds like a good plan. Let’s plan to meet at the Blind Pig Brewery tomorrow night unless someone alerts us that we have a student joining us, at which point it’s easy enough to move next door to Aroma/Pekara if there’s space.

 

An update on my schedule: my wife reminded me that I have another commitment tomorrow night, so it turns out I will not be present. Enjoy the meetup tomorrow; see you all next week!

Moving to an all-ages establishment sounds good, though I’m not sure we’ll have any K-12 participants if we are only deciding on this less than 24 hours in advance J If anyone knows of students they’d like to invite, by all means go right ahead! If we want to move away from a bar, a couple options that come to mind are Flying Machine/Pizza M in downtown Urbana or Café Kopi in downtown Champaign. I think either would have enough room to support the group. Any other suggestions are most welcome! I believe Aroma and Pekara both have small outdoor seating areas as well, and are conveniently located right next to the Blind Pig Brewery.

 

Any thoughts on a venue change for tomorrow?

I would love to be part of the conversation around this- I can't commit to this Tuesday, leaving town Wednesday and I have a feeling my presence at home will be required Tuesday night. ;)

Just thinking out loud, how could we make a Tuesday night gathering student-friendly? Or should that be a completely different gathering? I would love to hear the student voice.
