Social discussion of CS in K-12

Great write up, thanks for sharing the experience for those on the fringes of 
the group (haven’t been a part of the discussion yet). One of the many things 
that provokes my interests is my experience in so many related ways and 
places. I ran an after school program at Stratton for four years, am a part 
of the trauma informed care working–group at the Champaign County Coalition 
and also having as my job, working at Salt & Light, a faith–motivated 
resource for people living on the margins. (less relevant for a PC–school) I 
also used to run a Mac training and troubleshooting company for many years so 
I know some stuff about computers. I have known your principal, Trevor a long 
time too and respect him a great deal.

Martin is responsible for our (Salt & Light’s) nine–station computer lab 
which now several years later is under–utilised. As you think about 
community, if there are times when another partner is beneficial, please keep 
me/ us in mind. In spite of not being in your neighbourhood, I would love to 
support/ collaborate with what you have going on.
