There is a “workbook” that is the real unknown here.

 

Shows that there is a real market for this sort of thing, raising so much in the first day. People (parents) see the real value of getting the students into STEM. There is a lot of potential to be tapped, the hunger from the parents for their kids.

The idea of a hardcover book about programming looks strange. Right now it looks like invitation to learn how to swim by correspondence. I would rather see a version where the reader/learner is an active participant in the medium it is geared for. But, I may go for it if she tells me more about the book in addition to her look and bubbly persona.
