You need to also focus on a superintendent that thinks outside the box about the delivery of education. I just learned today, even though I applaud Central now the focus of renovation, that there still are no conversations as to how education will be delivered in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 decades. The conversation remain stalled in the manner in which education is being delivered today. WOW!!!!

I believe this echoes much of what we have been talking about in regards to student-centered approaches in education. After all, Tony Wagner retweeted it. *grin* Essentially, the government has been placing a high focus on catching up with China (and this thing called "global marketplace"), but we lose sight of the whole child.

My take: we already have teachers/admin in Unit 4 who, by their actions, embrace the whole child and student-centeredness; I am still pushing to make sure the BOE hires a superintendent in 2017 that makes this a top priority.
