Dear Shifters,
Thing 1 Tonight’s gathering is cancelled in lieu of a party that is going to take place at the home of Todd Lash this Friday evening after work. Todd and I are working on a Google Form to gather a count of who can make it.
Thing 2 This Friday The CSK8 Research group will present at the MSTE Friday lunch at noon at 505 East Green St. Free pizza. Good conversation. This is a special talk in what has been an extraordinary fall series. Earlier talks this fall have included College of Education Dean, Mary Kalantzis and Presidential Science Medal winner, May Berenbaum. But this group of young, energetic researchers sharing their work is the one you don’t want to miss if you would like to learn about MSTE’s research collaboration the College of Education and Unit 4. http://fridaylunch.mste.illinois.edu/
George
PS. You can see May’s talk on “Pollinator A-Bee-Cs for Beginning STEM Teachers” is here: https://goo.gl/DWbJJw
