Hi Charles, What did you miss?

In roughly chronological order.

-          Some discussion of various weight loss plans. My theory of all calories being equal was refuted.

-          Some mention of black holes and universal implosion due to Maya and Martin both returning together to the CTRL-Shift gathers.

-          On a substantive note, I was able to confirm some details with Alvarez regarding the Computational Thinking K-8 workshop that will occur on June 8th with some Champaign Middle School teachers.

-          Maya will be doing a webinar today (Wed) at noon, and she may be going to Redmond to meet with some Microsoft Foundation contacts.

-          Other, serious discussion of different pedagogical approaches to learning at the Fab Lab where Martin, Travis and I wrestled with what techniques are best for which students. No resolution was achieved but a thought-provoking discussion was had.

Those were just the events in my corner of the table. Sorry you couldn’t make it.

George

So what did I miss? :)

Just noticed that Elon Musk has a small private school going; I like the idea of deleting grade levels and learning about tools as you need them. :)

There’s lots going on to talk about.

Kenwood has been finishing up the Math-CT writing.
Jefferson teachers are planning a workshop.

Chip Bruce is in town!
