She coordinates TCIPG educa tion efforts to develop a variety of educational opportunities designed to engage learners of all ages. She is the author of the 4-H SET curriculum âThe Power of the Wind.â She taught in the Urbana School District for 34 years before coming to MSTE.\n\nAbout the TCIPG Seminar Series:\nThe mo nthly TCIPG Seminar Series on Technologies for a Resilient Power Grid pres ents speakers who are experts on topics in the broad area of research\, de velopment\, and design for secure and resilient systems related to the pow er grid. The scope includes all power grid systems\, from traditional syst ems involved in generation\, transmission\, and distribution to emerging s ystems dealing with distributed generation\, renewable integration\, and d emand-response.\n\nThe seminar series is presented by the Trustworthy Cybe r Infrastructure for the Power Grid (TCIPG) Project\, an $18 million multi -university research effort whose partner institutions include Dartmouth\, Illinois\, UC Davis\, and Washington State University. The TCIPG Project\ , a successor to the earlier NSF-funded TCIP Center\, was founded in 2009 with support from the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
