Great night tonight!

I just wanted to extend an invite to everyone to my freedom celebration on July 3rd from 5:00 pm to well into the morning hours.

We have burgers, dogs and side dishes brought by whomever.  Bring drinks and a chair. Boating, swimming, games. Killer fireworks at 9.

Most of all an eclectic group of perspectives can be found!

Please do come!

The hourly forecast has the rain clearing up an hour or more before 6 PM.
So let's plan to meet at Cowboy Monkey.
I have a small agenda of items to discuss.

- Phone call with Code.org - Thanks to Maya's outreach, she, Kerris, and I
had a brief discussion with Amy Hirotaka, the State Policy and Advocacy
Manager at Code.org. There are more discussions in the works that will most
likely happen on a twice-monthly basis.

- Pechakucha - Kerris suggests doing one. Great idea.

- Judah Christian's desire for Scratch training. Dan Ditchfield has been
making the contacts and there seems to be considerable interest there. Of
course, our first priority is the public schools but Judah's interest is
certainly worth being responsive.

- #CTexchange - what next? Minsoo and Bruno Rodrigues have been exchanging
emails and Bruno's students have put up some Scratch apps (most in
Portuguese) about Brazil.

See you at 6. -George
