What: Community Informatics Studio final presentations
When: Wednesday, May 14, 1:30-4:30pm
Where: LIS room 131

This semester the Community Informatics Studio class has continued exploration of ways to bring a socio-technical systems approach to digital literacy, creating various learning experiences that advance aspirational outcomes such as agency and self-efficacy. Three different project teams worked with different groups of K-12 students in the community around computational thinking, multimedia production, and alternative school library design. A fourth team has worked to develop a template that will be used to document the different Demystifying Technology workshops to facilitate broader use of these workshops.

Come for any or all of the student presentations. We would love to have a strong showing to provide feedback on the projects.
