That's really nice, Joe.
I think the Mahomet teachers would be good.
I could reach out to others, but I think you should go with someone you know
will use it.
George

Random question:
The owner of this company below is sending me a kit to make a 3D printer
based on an article I published a few years ago in Journal of Chem Education
(attached). I have absolutely no connection with the company except for him
contacting me a couple times with questions that resulted in him making the
kit. I have no financial ties at all. I think he is sending it as a
thank-you for the help with his questions.

The idea would be for a local school to make the kit and get to keep it. I
can supply them with the chemical, I use it when I do outreach activities
based on the 3D printing with local schools.

There is a teacher at Mahomet who would be willing to do this with his some
of his Junior High students, but I'm wondering if anyone else has any
suggestions before I contact the Mahomet teacher.

Instructions to assemble kit, (somewhat complex):

Jon Gant has agreed to be PI.

Jon has made some great additions/revisions to the text, which required me
to do some major editing. Conceptually similar to last draft but better,
and wording wise significantly different. No track changes b/c it got too
messy.

This morning I sent this to Bob Smith and Alvarez Dixon of Extension to ask
for the feedback. Bob said he would take a look later. So that may entail
a bitter more editing.

JON, please add a mini-blurb about yourself in the budget justification.

Lisa
